Relationship with finance ?

In a relationship who agrees or disagree that finance should be together or separate. We were dating on n off for 2.5 yrs our money was together for about the past 6 months. About 3wks ago, after living together for 1mth, I had gone to the casino n spent $100 when i told her that I would spend $40. Bills were always paid n spending that's amount didn't hurt anything. This was the first time I spent any amount on anything for enjoyment. Before that's I asked her if she wanted to go (repeatedly),and she said no that I could go. What do I do after a dog attack?

I was walking my little 10lb dog down the sidewalk the other day. The owner of the house directly in front of the sidewalk has 2 pit-bulls that charged out of the door and ran up to me and my dog growling with teeth bared (I would say these dogs were 80lbs each). I lifted up my dog in an attempt to save him and the pit-bulls jumped on me trying to get at him and nipping at his hind quarters, they scratched me and left large bruises on me in the process. My sweater I was wearing was also ripped in the back where one of the dogs jumped on me. My dog seemed to be ok, although he was screaming in fear/pain as the pit-bulls tried to rip at him... making me nervous that they did do damage. The owner eventually wrestled them to the ground (he was bloody/bitten from trying to get them back). The police were called and a report was filed. Is there anything else I can do in this case? These dogs are dog-aggressive and a potential dancer to others.

Weird mental problems?????????? Shrooms?

I haven't done shrooms myself, but I have a lot of friends who have. Most people who take shrooms have "flashbacks" every once in a while. Why? I don't know, that would be something to look into. Anyways, since you had a mostly bad trip consisting of (I'm assuming) bad thoughts, your flasbacks are gonna be mostly bad. My friend had a good trip on shrooms and one time she had a flashback of Homer Simpsons skipping down the street. I have heard that MDMA and other drugs sometimes causes flashbacks, too.

just ask him what he is looking for? and how he would feel about you hanging out with other guys. i don't see anything wrong with it as long as your not sleeping with a bunch of random guys, that might blow your chance with this guy. go with how you feel if it feels right then go with it, start a relationship with him. if he wants to just be friends and see where it goes then by gosh go out and have a good time. you never know when you will find mr right.

How do i prevent my two dogs from getting too wild?

So my parents have a 2 year old staffordshire terrier/ lab and she’s a sweet heart, but he can be wild and full of energy at times and we have to wait outside a pet store or dog park for her to settle down enough to where she’s not dragging us(she’ s got the strength of the terrier and looks of the lab). About a month ago, my mom decided our dog need a companion that could keep up with our dog so my mom went out and adopted a 12 week old border collie / lab puppy. We took our older dog with us to PetCo to meet the other dogs before we adopted one and she and this puppy got along from the moment they met however recently they have been wrestling each other a lot and biting each other. I know its all fun and they are just playing with each other and they let each other know when it’s too much, but they wrestle so much that afterwards they just become wild and full of energy. We are also training the puppy from being paper trained like his foster mom taught him to actually going outside in the yard and he’s doing well except he gets so wild sometimes he forgets and just goes in the house. Yesterday my puppy was so wild up that he bit me a couple a times, never enough to break skin, and my older dog followed suit by nipping at me like she wanted to play, The older dog has been like this before but not for a long time. My parents response to their bursts of energy is to get angry and yell at them and eventually everyone else in the household my dad is afraid my older dog is regressing and the puppy is picking up bad habits and are talking about separating them for a few weeks, like one in the crate for awhile and the other comes out to play and taking them outside one at a time. Anyone have any advice to A) settle my older dog down when outside, B)settle both dogs down or get them out of the phase of wild wrestling and C) prevent my older dogs regression. Please no advice about giving the dogs away or anything. It’s not going to happen!

My puppy survived parvo. Now what do I do?

I have a 9 week old pup that had gotten parvo. We nipped it in the bud right away by giving him antibiotics, pedialyte, and force feeding him baby food with puppy vitamins. By the end of the night he went from being unresponsive, weak, and vomiting to eating his own food and playing fetch and running around. The next day (this morning) he seemed like his usual playful self and he doesn't seem sick anymore. Does this mean he is cured? If so How long do I wait to get him vaccinated?

Summer- now's my chance?

There's this guy I like. We're friends, I suppose not super close friends, but we do text a lot and hang at social events. We just finished our sophomore year, he had a girlfriend nearly the whole time, but they broke up a week or two before school ended. The thing is we both have summer houses on a lake, and in all irony, he actually lives just around the corner. Need Dog training tips please.?

So we adopted an adorable little terrier mix about a month ago. For the most part every thing has been great but i could use a little advise. He is very intelligent and does some baside commands like sit, down, stay, come, shake and rollover. He does them excellently when i am in a quit room with him but when we are outside or there are new people around its like he has no attention span at all, he barley even responds to his name when he is distracted, also when he is out in the yard and i try to get him inside and say come he wont come he just starts running when i come near him, trying to play a game. how can i get him to be more obedient when he is outside, playing, or around new people- distracted. He also has some seperation anxiety. He really hates being lest alone and will bark for a while when we leave him in the kitchen alone. I have tried basically evrything- left radio on, left things with my scent for him and he gets plenty of excersise so thats not really the issue. He is fine when we leave him home alone, but when we leave him in a room alone and he knows were in the house he barks for a while, He is crate trained and i have tried leaving him in the crate when we leave the room but is doesnt seem to work. He is great around other dogs and people and only nips when i comb his tail or rear end. He is about 8 months old and i think he is a yorkipoo, or maybe a wirehaired dachsund mix or affen pincher or maybe a cair terrier mix, he is a little black scrappy 7 pound dog. He is also very skinny for his sixe and could put on a couple pounds. I give him two meals a day- solid gold food mixed with some organic wet food we make. I usuually only leave out the food for about an hour but he barley ever eats all of it. Is there a food that will help him put on weight, maybe white bread or rice or something? so basically 3 issues- 1) when distracted doesnt listen to commands like come and sit etc.. 2) Separation Anxiety when left in a room alone 3) Somewhat under weight. I need closure over the loss of my dog?

Trust me, your dog loves you. She may havenot even known herself where she was going, but she knows that if you knew where she was going you would hive her one last hug. She knows that and she loves you and understands you couldn't because you didn't know what was happening. Trust me, I know how it feels to lose your best friend. I had a Rottweiler that I had when I was 2 and had to put her down when I was 12, last summer. Now I'm 13 and understand you so much and how hard it is for you. Good luck.

My girlfriend is always talking about other guys?

Hi there, I am 16 and I love my girlfriend to bits, so much so that whenever there's even a whiff of another guy In the equation I get all jealous. For example, we'd be sitting in the park and a couple of men would walk past and she'd kind of stare and say "woah those guys have nice arms" or something, and then there is just constant posts and comments on facebook to and from her friends and photos she takes on holiday of all these boys and celebrities and models and boys she sees who are really "hot" and how "nice" there bodies are. Raccoon bite....please help?

The animal still might have rabbies, sometimes it's impossible to tell just by looking at them (especially in the early stages). And raccoons are in no way tame, though it is true for most things that they will come up to you if you sit still long enough, they are still wild and have a tendency to be nasty (as you have experienced, haha). It would be best to see a doctor just incase, if by some weird chance this raccoon was infected, the longer it takes to detect sometime the harder it is to treat.

My 60-something mother is extremely antisocial and odd. Help.?

She sounds as if she may be clinically depressed, or as you say in the early stages of some kind of dementia. However she is the so called "sandwich" generation, who have responsibilities for younger and also older family members. Do you think she may be feeling overwhelmed by all these imagined or real responsibilities ? That could be at the root of her withdrawal from the life of those around her,or it could be sheer laziness ? Is the housework getting done ? Is she keeping the place spotless or are things domestically going downhill ? You are right, the more she isolates herself the worse she will become. Can you get her to see a doctor and at least get routine bloods done to rule out anything physical.

My parents won't admit I'm crazy?

First off, I know enough about myself and mental illnesses to know that I have a tendency towards depression. Ever since I started puberty, there have been entire months where all I could do was fixate upon something self destructive: starving myself, killing myself, hurting myself. Sometimes, however, I feel downright homicidal, though lucky for everyone else, I don't act on this particular impulse. And no one has ever noticed. My parents are either just oblivious or are in denial about it. And now, as I'm being forced to sign the papers to go to a boarding school I never liked, they refuse to even discuss the possibility that I might have psychological issues. This is partly because of my mother's position as chief medical officer at a psychiatric institution and partly because of her recent diagnosis with severe adjustment disorder and her family history with mental illness. And though I have talked to my father about it, and he offered to take me to counseling, he never went through with it. I know that given enough stress, I sometimes have nervous breakdowns. What do I need to do to get some help?

Is breakfast really necessary?

20/F...I never used to eat breakfast. I would only eat lunch and dinner. About a year and a half ago, I began to eat breakfast and think that is when my binging issue came into play. I think eating 3 times a day vs. twice a day is making me too fixated on food. Has anyone else had this problem?

Ah, my guy can be like that. With horses who get lippy, since it can transition to them biting, I don't allow them to lip. Give him a "love tap" on the nose with your hand. Won't hurt him, it'll just snap them out of it and they'll be like "whoa I did something wrong! Better not do that again!" But be consistent because they don't learn from the first time :)

I think i have a separated rib?

ok, last year i was a tad drunk, and had the stupid idea to attempt a back flip off a trampoline, as you can guess i failed badly, i landed with my back on the metal edge of the trampoline and the fell off again onto a ceramic plant pot,. i went to the doctor he said it's most definitively a broken rib, but apparently he couldn't do much because my rib cage needs to move in order to breath, he assured me it will heal in around 2 months if i take it easy. a year later it still aches, it pops when i bend to the side and my girlfriend says there is a definite difference between both sides. so what i'm wondering is, is it possible to separate a rib from the spine and if so what will fix it? also if it's impossible to separate a rib from the spine what else could it be? cheers

My 12 year old terrier mix dog has been nipping and just bit a neighbor girl. What do I do?

Our dog is 12 years old and we can see that her anxiety around childern is increasing (Growling,hiding, pacing, panting). We have small children in our home and lots of neighbors that come and go. Last week an older child (10) ran past her in the house, startled my dog and got nipped (no mark), then tonight another little girl reached in the door when our dog was barking and got bit (small pen dot puncture). I have a call out to see if a family member can take our dog because she is very familiar with her and lives on a farm with no children, but I love my dog so much I feel conflicted. My pet mouse wont stop biting me, and he is drawing blood.?

My pet mouse will not stop biting me, at first he was just nipping, but then he really bit me and drew a little blood, and after that he bit me one more time and it drew a lot of blood. I'm fine, and the bits are not infected. I got him and another mouse almost three weeks ago. The other one is nice and so sweet, they were in a cage together but the mean one wouldn't stop biting him, so I had to separate them because the nice one was getting scabs on his back. They are both male, and both have red eyes. the mean one is brown and the other is white. And there is one more thing, they came from two separate cages. I know the size of the cage does not matter because I left the white one in a big cage and left the brown one in the smaller one they were first in together. And after I let them cool off for about four days I put the brown one in with the other and his started acting ok, then about a half hour later he went back to biting. I am trying very hard to handle the brown one , but he constantly bites and gets irritated easily. They have plenty of food and plenty of space. They even get some fruit every day, they have it good. I even let them interact out of the cages, i've read everything I could find online, I'm stumped.

The poor little dog! Give her a chance! Your other dog will love having a companion too. I understand that your dog is your special buddy, especially if she's helped you through depression. But this new little pup will bring you lots of joy too. She needs love and i think it's strange you are saying point blank that you'll never bond with her. Sounds more like you don't want to. Are you worried that loving this puppy will diminish your bond with your original pup? It won't. If this puppy isn't going to be loved then please rehome her. honestly the best thing you can do is cuddle him lots spend about 2 hours a day with himn just sat on your lap infront of the telly or something feed him little bits of cabbage or parsley while hes with you (BUT NOT TO MUCH) this works so much better than any games you can do. it worked with my two girls :)

Ways to find a home for dogs?

Two little dogs jumped into our truck wanting us to take them Home, but we can't find their Home. I have put ads up on Craigslist and on a couple of other local sites on the internet, and we've put up signs. We also had the pound check them to see if they're chipped, and they're not. We put signs up around the neighborhood. It's been over a week and nobody has come forward to claim them. We don't want to take them to the pound where they'll be separated and probably euthanized. I can't find a no-kill shelter anywhere close. We cannot keep them. There are so many dogs (and cats) up for adoption. How can I give these two good dogs a better chance at finding a forever home with a good owner? (Short of claiming on the evening news that we found them in a dumpster or something else dramatic and untrue!) How can we find them a good home (together) before we get any more attached to them?

My GSD nips only me! HELP!?

My puppy is currently teething now too and I had the same problem. I found that the best way to stop her was to firmly say "NO" every time she did and spritz her with water. Eventually just saying "NO" stopped her in her tracks. There are also plenty of chew toys specifically made for teething puppies, and having them around the house also helps. It's only been a week but she now only nips when she can't find her chew toys, and usually only once to get my attention.

Weird hallucinations I think?

So recently I've been experiencing some bizzare things. I've been having pretty frequent limb/ muscle twitches that have started to die down in frequency but are still there. I've started to see little sparks of light and dark circles in my prehiphrial vision. Not only that, I've been hearing little weird noises - but I can't tell if they are real noises that I am distorting because I think they could be hallucinations, or just mild hallucinations. The distorting part makes sense seeing as Im a hypochondriac and Im currently fixating on psychosis symptoms. For example- I heard a long, quiet scream, that faded off, and I realized it could have been either my mind hallucinating, my mind distorting a real sound, or just a very bizarre ambient sound. Also, I've been playing piano for 7 years or so and I just recently began composing what my body truly wants. This may sound stupid and all but I just sit down and it just comes to me, yet this music is sad, deep striking music (in the lower octive if you play piano), that's fast paced and similar to the last 50 seconds of "fantasie impromptu" anywho, I also just began to notice when I play piano, using the tv for light when it's dark outside, I begin to see the paper (in my perhiprial vision) start to wave, or ripple, but this is very minor, and it only ripples or waves slightly. Any suggestions? Oh yea, I think it's fair to note I've been smoking pot every since summer began. Also, also (?) its again fair to note that my muscle twitches have gone down when I stopped smoking this crappy weed. Also(x3), don't try and give a real answer if you have no idea what your talking about, and dont make this into a "pots bad" speech. I'm 16 and make good grades in AP clases for gods sake.

Worried about the dogs when baby arrives?

My boyfriend and I are expecting a baby in September. He has two dogs I was never fond of (a 5 year old german shepard mix and a 2 year old miniature pinscher) The big dog is very territorial and has separation anxiety with my boyfriend. She barks at anyone that walks by the house (We were most recently at a family reunion and had her outside and she was barking at everyone and even tried to nip at a little kid!) Plus she gets on the furniture. The little dog thinks she is a princess and barks at everything and thinks its her right to be in someones lap all the time and she still pottys in the house! I'll admit that I don't know much about Buddhism so this may be a stupid question to some if not most people. People can get odd fixations about anything. You could try some kind of therapy to get over yours, like cognitive behavioural therapy (cbt) or hypnotism. Make sure you get a qualified therapist, though. You could start by seeing your doctor, because they might be able to recommend someone. Dont worry, though, there will be a reason for it, and it can be sorted out. Possibly at some time in your life something traumatic happened when you were eating and somehow the anxiety and the food became linked in your mind. Dont be embarrassed, and do seek help, because there is bound to be something that can be done.

Questions about life in general that people don't discuss enough.?

I would say finish college only because it will help to make a living. The world revolves around money. And we're not really supposed to live with the same technology for the rest of our existence because we have the brain power to make and use tools. I definitely agree that it makes some of our biological functions obsolete, though. As for living away from the social norm, discovering the deeper meanings of life, I'm with you there. The world is too precise and too planned out for anything interesting to happen on a daily basis.

Help with dog training?

Huge problem! We have a 3yo Bichon Frise, sweetest dog in the world to us and our kids. But very territorial. Un-Socialized dog - Training?

You were bitten several times by this dog and YOU feel bad that you don't want to spend time there?!!! You need to tell these people what happened (if they don't already know). The vet can recommend what steps to take next and have their dog trained. At the very least have it muzzled before it bites someone VERY seriously and they have the dog taken away from them (maybe that what they really want!) Is it possible that my dog is mistaking me for my identical twin?

While I'm on deployment, my best friend back home is babysitting my dog for me. He's about 11 1/2 months old now. I knew it would be sort of rough on the dog but after this deployment, I'll get him back and no more deployments for me. So question being, my twin brother stops in about every other weekend or so and my buddy says my dog just cries and cries and begs for my brothers attention. Then after he leaves, my dog will continue to cry for the next day or so. He also is having problems being in the crate. Won't stop whining but he was never like that with me. (I adopted him when he was roughly 8/9 weeks old and had him up until early May) Is it possible he's confusing him for me? I thought dogs recognized humans by smell? I have 2 Akitas. 10 year old Male Akita, with a dominant personality and a 5 year old Female Akita with a very passive personality that was a champion in my country. There are loads of other selection tools other than the rectangular marquee. Try using onof the lassos or magic wand. Even using the rectangular selection tool you're not using it properly. Photoshop is a paint program not a drawing program and cannot separate out objects as it sounds you're trying to do. When you select part of the image, make sure you select only what you want to move.

I have a yorkie too but they just have to get used to them. Dont force him to go there if it doesent want to. I also have a huskey and it had to get used to my big dog. try taking him on normal walks like to a trail or a park where other dogs are but there are still the same amount of people. When it doesnt nip anymore, give hime rewards like treats untill it is normal.

If your male is like mine, he's just playing. This will wear off with age. Mine is about 16 weeks now (not yet neutered). It is really hard to watch your older get cat getting distressed, but she'll eventually learn to batt the little one off and look after herself! My older cat is gradually learning, and I'm sure they'll be friends within the year! When my now older cat used was a kitty he was awful to my older boy (who sadly died in April), but they were best friends for years once he grew up. Good luck :-)

Got nipples pierced last week, maybe be infected?

I got my nips pierced last week and i noticed the balls where trying to go into the skin, like embed them selves in my nips. So I went to the store got some longer bars, came home cleaned the bars and balls with antibacterial soap, and my holes with antibacterial soap and put the new ones in. Now my left nip is alittle swollen and my actual breat hurts. NO puss is coming from either holes, not hot to the touch on my nip or breast. So I have a have a juvenile leopard gecko who is growing and has a nice fat healthy tail and body. When he gets older we are thinking of breeding him. 9 week old ignores dad/other people, fixated on me?

Yes, most likely. Female cats are aggressive to male cats mostly during mating season, when they will be more guarded. But on some occasions, it doesn't work. I have a friend who has two cats, one male one female, and a similar situation. However, once she got the male neutered, they continued to fight. Since they range so much in age, and you've had Izzy longer than Jack, it's because Izzy isn't happy that another cat is in her territory. I just stay away from such people. They aren't really friends anyway or they would have enough compassion to leave the past in the past. If avoiding such people is not an option, the "look" of death and a quick exit works wonders on some folks However, there are some that just seem hell bent on re-living horrible experiences, so if that is the case, just make some comment to them that points out THEY are the ones that enjoy such conversations, but you can definitely live without ever mentioning it again.

Why do people tend to flock around me when Im PMT'ing? I don't get it?

I swear down when ever Im going through PMT unaware of it at the time but anytime I have PMT that's when everyone flocks around me can the aura radiate confusion and attract people and Im always going through hell during that time, how can people sense that Im going through that? Question about my new puppy and one year old dog...?

My puppy is 8 weeks old, and our older, one year old dog came with us to pick her out. The two got along immediately, but I've found that now, about a week in, the older dog will occasionally "pick fights" with the puppy, going over and stealing her chew toy or nipping her on the tail or deliberately jumping on her- the puppy immediately gets defensive and growls and nips. We supervise the two when they are together and there's a definite difference between play and fighting. The two dogs have separate areas: our puppy has taken over the small office that's attached to our kitchen and the older dog has the family room (also attached to the kitchen but on the opposite side of the room). The dogs have their own crates in their own areas as well as their own food that we keep in their respective areas. The two dogs cannot access each others space without supervision and the only time they interact is in the kitchen. What can I do to show my older dog that this younger puppy is not a threat?

I'm a smart guy and I get good grades, I never skip classes essentially I'm very education oriented, I have lots of friends or at least people I can talk to and hang with. My brother's son just announced to the family that he is a gay and in doing so has disgraced our family name. I think your thinking is like most girl's and I am a woman, I should know. I did marry a very good looking man who was a rat! It took a long time to find out what was under the surface. All that shines is not gold. I eventually divorced him. Throughout the years, I have found that sometimes you meet a person that is not so great looking but that, once you get to know them, they really become more and more beautiful because their ''soul'' or whatever you want to call the personality, shines through and you cannot help yourself but be attracted. It sounds like you have a large dog who has been allowed to run the household, (just as she ran her PRIOR household), and so thinks SHE is the leader. With your low level of dog handling skill, this is NOT something I recommend you try to fix yourself. This dog is too strong, and has gotten away with too much for too long. Either find a good private trainer experienced with headstrong dogs, or surrender her to a Mastiff rescue organization. My periods skip on me a lot, but it has been almost 5 weeks since my last one. I have been feeling the need to barf for almost 3 days now, when I think of any kind of food or smell any kind of food I want to hurl. I didnt cycle my fish tank?

Its great they they are in a 10 gallon with a filter instead of a bowl. With betta's, you should not have to feed them much, maybe once a day to every other day. Feeding less will help keep the bioload down until your tank is cycled. If you want you can test for ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates to see how your cycle is coming along. However your best bet is to just do small frequent water changes. 1 gallon water changes twice a week, maybe even 2 gallon water changes once a week until you know how the cycle is coming along. Bettas dont have a very big bioload in the first place so just make sure you dont overfeed and your bettas will be very happy and healthy. If your bettas start to flare up at each other through the divider you may want to consider exchanging one of the males for a female.

Going to college with high school sweetheart?

My high school boyfriend and I are going to the same college next fall on the same scholarship. We will be in a couple of the same classes and in the same dorm building. It's so great that I can be able to stay with him and not have to be alone during this big transition of my life! we live in the middle of the woods. We have a few neighbors, but not like normal neighbors, they are separated by the forest area. Well I just heard the neighbors shoot.....twice. They NEVER shoot. I have a friend who just found out that she offended her roommate because she said that she "likes to be lean and thin". I think it's silly that her roommate would be upset over this, but I think my friend should just ignore the anger. Instead, my friend is going out of her way to annoy her roommate even further. I was talking to someone the other day and I'm fully aware that there are co-ed dorms at many colleges (I'm currently at community college) but someone was telling me that there's co-ed bathrooms at their college! Like toilet, sinks, showers type of bathrooms...was this for real? How do I stop my recently nippy dog?

I have a Beagle- Australian Shepard mix, who has what can best be identified as little-man syndrome. She is EXTREMELY obnoxious about strangers in the house, even if these "strangers" she's met a million times before. She is terrified of children, having had a lot of bad experiences with being kicked and abused, and this causes her to growl at them and not let them come near her. Recently, a next door neighbor came over that she knows well enough, and she nipped him in the back of the leg. Probably a week later, a small girl came over when I wasn't home, and she nipped the poor girl in the hand. Just now, a close friend of mine came over, who tried to reach out and pet her, and though she has also known him for some time, tried to nip him as well. I'm at my wits end, with my mom telling me I need to get rid of her, but I know with her attitude towards strangers she would not be able to be adopted. I should also add that she has been socialized since I first held her in my arms, and used to be able to just fall asleep in anyone's lap, even if she had just met them. She is also an alpha, and since living with my mom, who owns 2 black labs, has become increasingly stressed out. We are know giving them to better homes, because I am about to have a baby, and as they are sweet dogs, we don't have the time or patience to properly train them. Hypocondriac problems. Help?

I am a terrible hypochondriac, and every now and then i fixate on some illness and stress to myself that I have it. Even though I know beyond logical doubt that not only do I not have it, the chances of getting it are insanely miniscule. Today I'm haunted by the human form of mad cow disease. 2008 Dodge Ram check engine light?

We bought this used in March. This morning the Change Oil light flashed and the check engine light came on and has not gone off. Does the check engine light go on with this model when the oil needs to be changed or is this a separate issue? The change oil light went off. My parakeet just lost a friend so i got him a new one but he isn't to friendly, what should I do?

So I had these two parakeets named Zipper and Sailor. They were BEST FRIENDS and inseparable. Then one day they were hanging on a hook in their cage on our outside patio, my dad (who is very tall) walked without seeing it and knocked it off the hook. The cage fell apart and Zipper was molting so he couldn't fly but Sailor got away. We put the cage back together and got Zipper inside, luckily he wasn't injured. But Sailor flew off somewhere, and we knew from one time when we separated the two that they both started to flip out and were chirping for each other. So Sailor was gone and Zipper was all alone so my mom brought me to Petsmart and I got a new parakeet, we asked the gender and the lady said that it was too young to tell what gender but she guessed it would be a girl. I named her Lila and she's a very pretty bird. We put her in the cage and they don't fight but they don't interact and sometimes Zipper nips her to keep her away from him and one time pushed her off the perch. I REALLY hope that Sailor is okay and that he might return to us but those chances are slim to none and if he did he would be traumatized. What should I do to make them friends with each other? I know that I should just wait but I can't help but worry. I don't know if it matters but none of them are hand-trained. Please help me.

Ok so I already purchased Map Pack 2 for the PS3 but its not downloading completely. I have tried downloading it on separate occasions but it keeps freezing at 47% (1131/2355). I've had my new puppy for about 3 weeks now and lately he's been getting really riled up and starts to bite people (not really hard or anything, but I just don't want him to bite when he's older - He's a Doberman X German Shepherd). He's also started to nip at the back of peoples' legs as they walk away from him. When you try to tell him not to bite, he just takes it as if you are playing with him and continues to do it and jump around aggressively while growling. Any tips/tricks that might help me? Im 17 and my ex is 17 as well. We have a one year old daughter between us. She is my everything. Well today she went to stay the night with her dad, and he refused to bring her home. He is filing for full custody and keeping her there. I contacted the police, since hes the father theirs not much I can do. I live in PA, and my ex has been in and out of the psychiatric center for bipolar disorder and suicidal threats he also has MULTIPLE charges against him including Breaking and Entering, Assault, Grand Theft Auto, Harassment and Fighting. He has been sent away many times and he is currently on Probation. He is also into drugs. Or used to be. I have never had anything filed against me, and I have no criminal history. He is trying to take her because I fed her KFC, at a year old, and because she has a bruise on her face from where she fell down. However, his parents breed English Sheepdogs and one of them nipped at her once! I believe tots fall down and tots hurt themselves, so I dont think he has much of a point there. Also he said she was pulling on her ear and when he took her to the hospital she had a ear infection. Well, she wasn't doing that around me until very recently and when I noticed it I made her a apointment, However, he took her before I could take her to the hospital! The last reason is because I move around a lot, but that is because I am trying to get school figured out and find a good stable home for my baby. I live with wonderful people who treat my daughter wonderfully, because I am their neice and my daughter is their great neice.Please tell me what I can do. Im not a bad mom. How did you correct your young child when they started getting that teen-like attitude?

My son will be 4 in 2 months. He's kinda always had an attitude (probable got it from me), but I've been able to correct it easily by simply saying no or giving him a time out etc. By lately he really has MAJOR attitude and is SO rebellious and talking back. He learned (probably from another child at day care) how to spit at people and I give him a warning then when he does it again he gets a time out, but he will just keep doing other things like saying "don't talk to me! you're not my friend!" or sticking his tongue out or whatever. He seems like a 14 year old stuck in a 3 year olds body. LOL Looking for advice on how to nip it in the bud now before it gets out of hand.

Remember this dog isn't feeling well. You will need to correct her AND get her meds into those ears. When you apply the meds, be gentle with her. They (her ears) are painful--but you cannot allow her the "nipping" Get after her, but be gentle with her meds! Praise her after she does a good job with allowing you to apply the drops. Give her a treat and praise when she settles down and after you medicate her. As you already know, Beagles LOVE to eat--use it--- to lessen the struggles of medicating her! It is a simple matter of "bribery"!!!!

I wouldn't suggest you putting her back in. If she was nipped before , she will get nipped again. Tiger barbs usually pick a " Weakest Link" which isn't always the smallest so she may have been chosen. I have had tiger barbs that got nipped so bad that they got stuck in the filter intake and died. Really sad stuff. Good luck.
